Pindar recognized the theme of the ever returning spirit, putting thoughts forms of ephemeral thought and wiping them away. He wrote his oath to young athletes who had been victors in the Olympic Games saying you will be gone certainly, but in the moment of life's glory it is glorious. And you get this also in East Galist as well in the tragedy. In Nietzsche's view it is precisely the perfect balance of these two sentiments so that they check and support each other.
