There is no way of measuring how much a person's personality is formed by their genes and parents - he adds. But studies have shown that something like half or 40% of personality comes from insider factors such as peer group environment but terribly little seems to come from our parents. 'It may at some point be proved to be wrong, but so far it's looking pretty robust'
