It was a busy news weekend so it's a pretty jam-packed show today. First Emma and Sam take in the latest Trump administration spin on the blowback from their self-imposed tariff disaster. After that, they're joined by The Nation's legal analyst and justice correspondent Elie Mystal who breaks down some of the overarching legal issues that have emerged in Trump's first 100 days.

After that, Sam and Emma react to the news that Rep. Gerry Connolly is stepping down as ranking member of the House Oversight Committee due to his worsening health. Basically at this point there's no good reason that the party shouldn't back AOC to replace him. In the Fun Half, Sam, Emma and Matt react to "Mr. Wonderful" attacking AOC by saying she's against the American dream because she's rallying tens of thousands of people against oligarchs. Then, Republican congressman Mike Lawler gets shouted out by a room full of his constituents over his acquiescence to Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker is in New Hampshire (gee, I wonder why) where he gave a fiery speech where he calls for mass protests against the Trump administration, saying that Republicans "must not know peace."
