The Wondrous Paradox of the Boundary Waters
All 11 camp sites on ogish were full, the lake felt devoid of people. This is a really popular place to come to in the mid west but after a day or two of paddling you might not see another person for days. I came here with my recorder in a capture which so envelops me. Here, the mournful wails of loons at night,. the lakes telling stories, the skies shou. One writer, sigard olson, described being here as a time for silence. It's one of the things i love about it.
