The Argument for Double Imputation in the New Testament
The alliance of confessing evangelicals contend that double imputation is the essence of the gospel. This contention is sociologically derived and not New Testament teaching pure and simple, he says. No one in the New Testament explicitly ever affirms anything like double imputation,. Therefore, I conclude it is contrary to the Sola scriptura, at least when defined as prima Scriptura, to contend that this is the essence Of The Gospel.
