Magic Mike 2 by Steven Soderbergh
Soderbergh is really great at showing like I think he knows I make a really fun movie and it felt like he was conflicted on two sides of it. He wanted to show like the gritty indie but he also was making the Oceans 11 fun big movie. Magic Mike 2 five minutes in you're like oh my god big dick rich he said more words in the first five minutes than he got to with the entire other movie combined. It's just lovely to get to see their personalities come out as actors. Stottaberg put a lot of his post 2008 economic collapse into this movie which drags it all down well.
