The Unfairness of Partisan Gerrymandering

The Supreme Court said that federal courts have nothing to say about partisan gerrymandering. Democrats and Republicans are able to use this information to draw district maps where they've essentially handpicked certain voters into and out of districts for a desired party result. The framers of the Constitution wanted to take into account like population growth and movement, but what ends up happening with the coalescence of political parties is that now Democrats and Republicans can do it themselves.
