The Devastation of the Atomic Bombings

The devastation was complete. It was about two miles in each direction from the hypersenter that were completely wiped out completely flattened. A lot of this has been passed on to second and third generations birth defects. We have almost 14,000 nuclear weapons. Most are between seven and 70 times the size of the Hiroshima bomb. If even a small fraction of them were used, that would effectively end life on the planet. That's what we've been living with for 76 years now.
