Ibn Taimiya's Argument for Universal Knowledge

Ibn Taimiya argues that legal judgments don't need to involve syllogistic arguments at all. He dismisses the premium Aristotelian's place on universal knowledge. Ibn Taimiya is not so much proposing a different way of doing logic as trying to show that logic is pointless.
