Is There Evidence That Ellen G. White Had Visions?

Despite the difficulty in diagnosing a person who has been dead for more than a century, there have been claims that Ellen suffered from a form of mental illness. People can definitely produce visions that are products of their imagination. In some cases, this will be purely innocent and they'll mistakenly attribute it to God rather than to their imagination. Others may know that it's their imagination, and yet they pass it on as a genuine vision. This is because they are consciously lying to others about the experience or hoaxing them.
