How Does Cortisol Play in a Cycle?

Cortisol, the circadian rhythm clock genes definitely have an impact on our menstrual cycle. Our cortisol is up in the morning with the sun and down at night, we're in melatonin comes out. Even elevated levels of cortisol can really increase our prolactin levels. It's not high enough necessarily that we may start to produce milk,. But it could be high and mildly high that it can quote throw off her cycle.
