The Risks of a Credit Card Cycle in Brazil
Brazilian credit card rates are punitive in Brazil. Government is becoming increasingly involved trying to preserve household cash flows. If the government intervenes and caps credit card rates or caps, other kind of rates then we probably won't be having a credit card cycle that we should have. But again, how does this flow through? Not everybody can be a winner.
