How Do You Stay With Your Body Sensation?

Somatic work is first learning like as certainly as a therapist, but also just as a human in the world, we got to first understand our own nervous systems patterns. And so sometimes what can be helpful is if I know some of my own patterns and I know what most helps me ground,. Then a when I'm holding space with someone else, whether it's a friend or a client, I can better discern what's my stuff from what's theirs. The other piece is figuring out what helps us ground and what helps us slow down best.
