You Get the Leaders You Deserve

LZ: What if we were to honor whether it's Trump for you or Pelosi or the squad or whoever it is for you that's on the other side from your vantage point? LZ: We're to honor leaders in the church. And less you think seriously, less you think that is some self-serving thing, it's not at all. It goes both ways. Most of the people that are actually running this church are the relational giants who hold people together. If they were to step out and say 'I'm not running this church,' I would feel pain in mobilization. But often we don't even know their name; we just treat them with a sense of entitlement.
