Did Scott Morrison Gain Powers Under Section 65?
He had, you'll remember, five extra ministerial portfolios. He took on two of those, health and finance, in 20 20. When he did that, the letter that was drafted only mentioned section 64 to administer the portfolio. But leap ahead another year, and he took on three extra portfolios. And at that point, for some reason that hasn't been explained, the wording in the appointment letter was changed. So did he gain powers under section 65 then, or not?
