The Role of Regulators in the Rise of Ecosystem Economy
It's really nice to hear that customers are one of the primary beneficiaries of this move toward ecosystem economies. Are there any instances though where customers actually need to be protected from the rise of ecosystems and how are regulators responding to this blurring of industry lines? There are some sectors that you mentioned like banking and insurance that are currently tightly regulated due to their importance to the overall economy. But also important to notice that the trend which is essentially reorganizing to a large part of the global economy across customer needs is not something that regulators and governments dislike. On the contrary, it increases competition and increases the quality of services.
