Democracy Is an Exercise in a Basic Structure
If everything is thrown upen to referendum, tribalism could take over. So i think certain basic structures have to be done by a thought elite. And i've argued for this whole concept of every is got democratized so everybody's voice is the same. But are we ready for that? Because i agree with what you're saying about the constitution but at some basic level, if you go there, then you could have a trump completely redoing what democracy or nation hud means.
