The Heat Index and the Threat of Extreme Heat Waves

Jay Parini: It's been an interesting roller coaster ride in the United States this summer. He says nearly 210 million Americans or two thirds of the population live in counties that have temperature hot enough to cause harm. The world weather attribution collaboration analyzed the, you know, the heat changes that happened and they say it's impossible for these temperatures to exist without climate change.
