The Harm of Racism

The more I came to understand my conditioning as a black person as a man the more liberated I felt. Buddhism is really about moving beyond views isn't it so we do have to engage with the views around especially around race. The hurt of racism doesn't matter what your race you are even within people of color communities there's a lot hurt there unaddressed and easily evoked. We're not going to create conditions to practice for me as simple as that they're just engaging with it for its own sake or because it's nothing political in any way.
