Loss and Damage at COP 27 in Egypt?
Cheryl: This is going to be an interesting COP potentially because obviously at the last year there was a ton of frustration over loss and damage. Pacific Island leaders have been bringing up this issue for many many years you know and it's made very little advancement at the negotiations. A lot of Pacific Island negotiators are not hopeful moving into COP 27 that there will be much change but it doesn't mean that they go in without hope.
