The First Cold War Never Really Ends
The first cold war never actually ended. The only reason it seemed to subside was because the russians were so weak that they couldn't do a lot about natives move into their former sphere of influence. But that competition has certainly reignited to day. And so i think its a reminder that even though the contours of competition change, the reality of competition is enduring international affairs.
