The debate around lacite takes us back to some of the big debates that broke out in the 19 eighties. I think it does have something to do with terrorist attacks that and that hit france in e in 15 16. That became really a central feature of french politics and the response to it. And it normalized, i think, a certain right wing framing, maybe of a loto a lot of issues.
