The Changes in the Book of Morman
The book of morman was changed to reflect joseph's changing view of the godhead. When alma performs his first baptism he throws himself into the water along with the person that he's baptizing and then the next one he's just baptizing the rest of it as if that was his baptism too right his first baptism and nobody knows about it.
