The drug was approved over 20 years ago how does it affect or 20 years ago i think exactly now. The idea though that this could undermine the fda's authority overall is a real concern. pharmaceutical companies might say you know what we don't want to invest millions of dollars in rnd for a drug if just one guy or one gal one judge can say yeah i don't like this drug let's take it off the marketYeah i'm going to go back and read an earlier version of this article which stated that the government had filed legal briefs saying long-standing fda drug approvals were so easily enjoined. We are happy to make clear that these claims have not been supported
