The Problem With Randomization in a Single Arm Trial
The end point is just one aspect, the real issue for us is the comparison. Once randomized, everything happens in a trial, you never have full control. We understand that patients have different experiences. They do different things, maybe they violate the protocol even without telling you because on occasion patients might lie. All these kinds of things complicated even more. Now if we would have something like survival rates, how would that help? What kind of problems would you see remaining?
