The History of Jerusalem

Both the Church of Holy Sepulchre and the area of the Garden Tomb were encased in what became known as the Third Wall. The building of Alia Capitelina by Hadrian built a street plan where you have a cross. And essentially, if you have two streets crossing, one going east-west and one going north-south, you have the four quarters of the modern Old City.
