The Girl That I Spent My Summer With Was Not Debby
I quit my job at the bodega and flew out to just as quickly as i could. Instead of the cheery, bright eyed girl that i immediately fell for, i was greeted by some one very different. Her once bright eyes were now bloodshot and sunken in. Her hair looked as if it hadn't seen a brush in weeks. Clothes wrinkled and dirty. I'm ashamed to admit that at that moment, i felt like i might have made a big mistake. She did manage to greet me with a very big, beautiful smile and embrace. This was definitely my by but something was very, very wrong.
