Timothy treadwell was shot dead by grizzly bears in Alaska. He and his girlfriend had already left for the year when they were killed. The pair went back at the end of september through october to re-visit prime bear lake where he'd been camping before hibernation. They got into a verbal altercation with an airline attendant because their tickets were too expensive, so turned round from the airport and went back again after being told it would rain that week.
