DTC: A Health Food for a Passionate User Base
Jody: DTC is like a food truck and that food truck almost serve as like a proof of concept. And once that food truck actually started popping off, then they would move into a brick and mortar. I feel like that's kind of the same analogy for Like a lot of the CPG people, you get the DTC store, you get some cash flow from it. But really it's getting in their air. One of my big brand crushes is liquid death and then it even sell water anymore on their site. It's only merch and everything is through Amazon or retailers where they do FBA just because the logistics network is way better than what they have.
