The most common thing to do is if you just need a website with one map that shows your location or something, what people do is they embed the Google Maps API and don't have a back end at all. Having Elixir on the back end gives us such speed of development and the performance is great, the scalability is great. The story for, you know, using that as a wrapper around Postgres and PostGIS is phenomenal.
