We need to be smarter about what is the conversation between man and machine going forward, where automation actually helps us. It isn't just about replacing humans in the work force. Fine ways of using digital technologies including machine learning and abundant data that now many companies have access to will involve some atomation. But if we become too obsesse with altomation, that may not actually satisfy the machine usefuli principle. We may do it when it's actually not helping humans, and we may actually overdo it.
