i know what it's like to struggle with this, even though i'm a teacher. You can keep practising, keep practice and keep trying your best. The first step is being aware that you have a problem. I wouldn't necessarily recommend using the f pronunciation,. but if it's a choice between saying f and avoiding the whole word, then maybe you can say the f.
