How to Attune to Your Feelings
The first piece of a tunement is learning to sit with our feelings. So many of us, and especially survivors, are not taught to tune in to what we want and how e're feeling. One of the first things i do is to help my patients develop a self pleasure protocol. It's just go to your bed for 20 minutes to an hour, or go to a place that feels comfortable and safe and erotic or sexy. And eventually, after several weeks of this practice, you can build up to genital touch and perhaps build up to orgasm,. if that's something that you're interested in achieving.
