Werner Schmittko was one of the kids we talked about in episode one. He sailed to Colonia Dignidad in 1962 as a two year old. And a few years later he began being molested by Paul Schafer. All the while this is going on, the abuse continued. In 1970 one girl, Matilda Shergolas, wrote to her mother back in Germany,. No one is getting in here and nobody is getting out. Which is certainly how she felt at the time but is not quite true.
