Using Genetic Information to Find Drug Candidates
The CSO at XCNTA is also a professor in the department of statistics at Oxford. His work uses machine learning and other computational statistical techniques to do things like predict protein structures, allowing exceencia to discover and develop new drug candidates. In his PhD he was trying to identify causal pathways in biological organisms so that we can infer if some genetic pattern isn't causing DNA sequence changes.
