"I use evolutionary game theory to show that in general the probability zero that any of our perceptions are vertical on that framework then I go to a deeper framework," he says. "In this new framework I am allowed to say the interface gives me genuine information about the conscious experiences that's what it's for so you see this is it's a two-step argument here and that's that's why when we started today I started off with this whole bit about logical self-contradition because I knew it was going to raise its head over and over and over again here."
