I think often it starts with catching it after the fact. So I know everybody wants to think, well, I learn about allowing urges and then I'm free and that's it. Often what happens is a person will have what I call a learning moment where maybe they'll eat some extra food or they'll binge. But when you fixate on beating yourself up and compensating and restricting, you're going to get more and more of what you don't want.
