The Final Cause of a House
Final cause is the end or the purpose which animates a thing. The enlightenment got rid of not only the college disciplines, the college major's sense of final and formal causation. So we're only thinking about things amid a crass, materialistic reductionism. It also filtered out from there, because univers is the nerve center of western civilization.
