The Impotence Proper to the Prematurity of Birth
Lacan: Prematurity of birth stems from impotence proper. He says the baby and as they look in the mirror feels that they are fragmented and discombobulated is because they are. They truly do lack motor skills. This is something true about humans; we are all born prematurely. The con thinks this is something very important, but he connects it to death, not life, but death.
