The original ocen 11 has a gravity to it that's missing from the remake. The rat pack version ends with the gang losing all their money and franksinotra's character seemingly having forgotten all about trying to reunite with his estranged wife, played by ange dickinson. But one thing you can say for saterberg's version is george cloney, mat a n and bradpitt do not put shoe polish on their faces in a black face gag as sonatra, martin and lawford do in the original.
