How to Make a Film About Veganism

In many ways you and I have had a comparable trajectory, we're from similar backgrounds. And so it's interesting knowing you as I do because I think we've both lived in a way socially and culturally with similar backgrounds. When you told me you were making that film about veganism I thought that's an interesting challenge. It can become a bit pious, can't it stuff about animal rights? So that was a very deliberate thing I imagine. Yes, I thought that it would be wrong to make it unfunny. Because all the people who have spoken about it before, that's probably unfair.
