How to Measure Progress Over Time
Each pupil has two pieces of writing on a scale. They are assessed in september and june, then again at the end of the year. It is theoretically possible for every student to do better than they did at the start of the school year. So it's a very sophisticated way of getting, you know, a kind of measure of student attainment and also progress.
