The Merchant of Ashur, Dori Ashur
The Naya Ilahe and her daughter were sold for 60 shekels. Dori Ashur's house was about 1600 square feet in size, with many people living there. He had partners who accompanied his trading firm on its journeys away from the city. The traveling partners led a train of donkeys northward along the Tigris River laden with clothing, textiles and silver.
