The Role of AI in the Creation of Art
A lot of the people who operate in the realm of AI art are visual artists. And they use these new algorithms to generate images and create visual artworks. But there is a really deep sense in which these algorithms are not autonomous, right? So essentially, you need a human in the loop in order to produce any of these images. It's interesting because that's a very similar debate was going on when photography was invented.
