Flying a Lot

The West Coast, illicit dog fighting scene is called Fight Club. "We were preserving our birthright as naval aviators," says former Navy pilot Dave Brawley. A hard deck at 5,000 feet meant that the fight was over when you dipped below that altitude. The word had spread far beyond the Navy community and the services mixed it up with fierce relish.
