Over excitability is a very broad construct and there are a lot of different phenomena that we would now label using diagnostic criteria. I came to de braske's theory when i was trying to understand my history as some one who had been identified gifted but given different diagnoses in adulthood. The only people on the whole who've been exposed to over excitability are those who came to it from the world of gifted education. Utit's so much bigger than that.
