The US Navy's Role in the ASEAN Security Situation
I think the US military as a whole, and as you suggested in the Asia-Pacific region and Navy plays a really critical role. It's a huge asset for us. A lot of countries in the region like working with the US military and the US Navy. The problem we have is an imbalance where we have to rely too heavily on that pillar. We've spent billions of dollars on public health there with too good effect, but almost nobody knows about it.
