Rehoboam the Son of Solomon

Rehoboam is described as someone who slept with his father's buried in the city of David. We're told that he went to the city of Shechem which we've encountered multiple times. So maybe for that reason because it has this connection to covenant renewal and to the patriarchsmaybe for that reason Rehoboam thought you know what I'm not going to do this in Jerusalem. He might have been a wise guy but he also made our life kind of rough because he raised taxes on us.
