Many of us just perseverate on this one body part or feature, and we think there's something wrong with it. And no one else in the world, not even our partners, notice that,. So this is kind of self imposed in a lot of ways. I think another part of it, too, is ditching the social comparisons. You know, if you're always comparing yourself to these other people, you're going to feel bad about yourself. We need to override what our brains will kind of naturally default to. But again, we can do that. It might require lots of reminders up front, lots more work up front but it does get better over time.
