The government has been trying to recommend people to do it like a digital version of burning joss papers or lighting up lighting up incense for your ancestors. The traffic gets really, really bad because there are a lot of people who are going back to their hometown to do tomb sweeping day. More people gravitate towards the next safer places where they're going to burn their joss paper than there are on the streets.
